Membership Fee, what does that include?

Your membership fee is $20 a month or $210 for a yearly subscription.

The fee includes a membership gift for new members, access to meeting new members, events both in person and online, chat groups, online store and any member specials we are promoting at any given time.

Information security, is it safe?

SheConnected has a privacy policy in place click on the link for more information. The only personal information we collect, is data that we require so we can set you up with an account for the SheConnected community after the account has been set up, none of this data is kept on file. The SheConnected app is hosted by the Mighty Networks which is based in the USA. Payment data is stored via a third- party organisation, Stripe which is also based in the USA. Stripe is the largest payment processor in the world, and with all data being encrypted, it is very safe. Please refer to the Stripe Privacy Policy for more information.

What kind of events do you put together, and how often do they occur?

SheConnected has a variety of events for members, these events could be coffee and walking catch ups, to shopping, dining, art, weekends away. Events are created for you, and it depends on what the members ask for. There are always regular coffees, walks, brunches, lunches and dinners. Once you join go to “What’s on” and select from the variety of events under this title. There will be events in all areas and also some age specific events, mother and daughter events, and Non-member events.

What are Non-member events?

These are events where the member can invite a non-member along to an event, in the hopes that they may join our special community as well, it introduces them and shows them what SheConnected is all about and gives them the option to be a part of the community.

What are Mother & Daughter events?

Well, it might be the daughter that’s a member she can invite her mother, or it might be the mother that is a member, and she can invite her daughter or daughters along to an event. The event could be Theatre, Picnic, Dinner, Coffee, it depends on what is one and what is asked for. It’s a very special bonding time for this very special relationship.

What is the Community Photo album?

This is an area where you can post your community photos online and share with the rest of the community some of the very special and moments, these could be moments of laughter, or it could be you, creating your next masterpiece at the most recent Paint & sip you have been to with the community,  it’s all fun and can be shared here with everyone.

Where can I go to for activities in my area?

Go to “What’s on” select and event type you are interested in and look at the feed for an event of this type in your area, if there isn’t one, email info@sheconnected.com and request the type of event you would like, we will get back to you once this is organised for you.

Do we pay for events?

SheConnected negotiates with venues everywhere to come up with the best possible pricing and specials for you. Some events will be for free, these types of events are walks, running, dog walking, some tours, etc. Wherever the event is held you will have to pay for your food and beverage experience unless advertised differently. SheConnected will create all sorts of events from Painting and Drawing, Golf lessons, cooking classes, learning about finance to name a few the list is truly endless.

Why is there a need for a community like SheConnected?

SheConnected exists because there is a need and desire for everyone to connected with new and old faces on a regular basis, it’s good for your mental health, and you never have to be alone again! You don’t have to turn up to the cooking class or a restaurant by yourself anymore.  If there is one thing that we all have in common that is that we are here to make memorable and fun connections with new and inspiring women.
