Terms and Conditions for SheConnected

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern the use of sheconnected.com.au (the “Site” and ” App”). This Site and App is owned and operated by SheConnected (ABN 35 050 009 624) This Site is a membership site, and includes an online store available to public and members.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
SheConnected websites and Mobile App and content is owed by SheConnected this includes all information, tools and services available from the websites to you, using this website you agree to the Terms and Conditions
Once you have become a member of SheConnected you may set up a user account, this will allow you to access and use the services offered for your membership.
We are not responsible if information on the SheConnected website is not accurate or current, the information on the website and app is provided for general information purposes only. We also reserve the right to to modify content at any time on our website or app. It is your responsibility to to monitor changes to our content for both applications.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
- All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Your orders
Once you place the order and we have processed your payment, we will provide you with an email to confirm your payment, this email only confirms your payment, once product have been despatched, you will receive another email confirming they have been despatched. We also reserve the right to cancel your order with reason including but not limited to the breach by you of our terms and conditions, out of stock or product not available, an error in the price, image or product description, an error in your order issues with payment or with your payment address, fraud prevention, excessive returns or chargebacks by you, shipping or trade restrictions, shipping time constraints product recalls or withdrawals, failure to meet minimum order requirements if applicable or as otherwise set out in these terms. If your order is cancelled we will contact you and you will have the option of receiving a full refund or a store credit.
Prices, payment and GST
All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars and include GST, all payments are processed in Australian Dollars. We accept payment by various methods credit card apple pay and various other methods options are displayed at check out on the website.
Prices and Services
Prices for the services and subject to change without notice. We will how notify you prior to purchasing any service of the price payable.
SheConnected reserves the right at anytime to modify or discontinue a service or any part of content thereof without notice.
If you have paid for a service and its discontinued during the term of that service, we will provide you with at least 30 days notice of its change or if the service has been terminated, we will refund you part taking into account services that may have already been rendered or all of the purchase price. SheConnected is not liable to you or to any third party for any change in price, suspension or discontinuance of the service.
You maybe notified at times of additional terms and conditions that apply to the SheConnected Service, certain product may be available through our website or online shop, which may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of SheConnected and the Site’s creators. This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Consumer Protection Law
Where the Australian Consumer Law, Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010, or any other consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction applies and cannot be excluded, these Terms and Conditions will not limit your legal rights and remedies under that legislation. These Terms and Conditions will be read subject to the mandatory provisions of that legislation. If there is a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and that legislation, the mandatory provisions of the legislation will apply.

Our Site contains links to third party websites or services that we do not own or control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party website or service linked to on our Site. It is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of these third party websites before using these sites.
Limitation of Liability
SheConnected and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable for any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees from your use of the Site.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, by using this Site you indemnify and hold harmless SheConnected and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from any actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities and expenses including legal fees arising out of your use of our Site or your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Billing Banking and Account Information
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our online store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information email address, credit card numbers and dates so that transactions can be completed accurately as needed.
You acknowledge that payments are processed by a third party banking merchant and agree that the Banking Merchant and SheConnected may exchange information about you as necessary for the purposes of this agreement. You acknowledge that using this banking Merchant gateway you are subject to the terms and conditions of this banking merchant and SheConnected is not liable for any loss you may suffer including any claims, liabilities, damage, judgment, award, loss, cost, expense, demand or fee details. SheConnected does not store any card details and if such information’s are collected for the purposes of providing a refund those card details are destroyed immediately after use.
Returns
We reserve the right to limit, or cancel a sale or a service to any person, geographic location, jurisdiction or quantity. We reserve the right to limit quantities me may offer, all pricing and descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us for any service for any reason, this restriction noted may include orders placed by or under the same User Account, the same credit card and or orders that use the same billing and or shipping address. If we change or cancel your order, we may attempt to notify you via email and or your billing address or phone number which was provided at date of purchase.
We would like to love the products you have purchased from SheConnected, but if you do change your mind you may return your product to us within 30 days of the date you received it and we will issue you with a store credit. Exceptions may apply at times but customers will be notified on the product display page, please remember you will be responsible for the shipping costs for a change of mind return irrespective of any free discount or any other type of shipping promotion that may have been applicable at the time of your order. This includes any costs you incur for us shipping the product to you in the first instance and the cost of shipping the product back to us.
Products returned must be in as new condition and packaged securely in the original packaging. This means that you have not used, assembled, damaged washed or laundered any of the products.

Store credit vouchers will be valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Wrong product delivered
Very occasionally we may accidentally ship the wrong product to you. If you have received an incorrect product, let us know as soon as you can, ideally within 3 days of receiving your delivery. We will offer to send you the correct product and arrange for the pick-up and return of the incorrectly shipped product at no cost to you.
If a product arrives and the packaging or the product itself is clearly and significantly damaged, you should take photos or video showing the damage, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately.
If you notice after a product arrives that it is missing parts, is faulty, is defective or has been damaged during manufacturing, please take photos or video clearly illustrating the problem and contact us as soon as possible, ideally within 3 days of receiving your delivery.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) is the national law for fair trading and consumer protection. You have rights as a consumer under the ACL in relation to our goods that we cannot exclude. This includes consumer guarantees that our goods will:
- be of acceptable quality and not be faulty or unsafe;
- match their description; and
- be fit for their intended purpose.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude your rights as a consumer under the ACL.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our products. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Except to the extent we are required to be liable by law, we will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs or expenses including without limitation, consequential, special, incidental or exemplary damages of any kind or for loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill, loss of opportunity, loss of data or any other indirect or economic losses whatsoever suffered or incurred by you, arising directly out of or in connection with these Terms.
Without limiting the above and to the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for losses you suffer arising out of or in connection with these Terms:
- Will be reduced or limited to the extent (if any) that you cause or contribute to the losses; and
- Is strictly limited to the total dollar amount of the products purchased by you in relation to which your loss has arisen, except that this will not apply to the extent that your losses are caused or contributed to by our acts or omissions.
Exchange
We do not offer exchanges or our products. Simply return you items and place a new order.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to refuse a return in cases where we cannot be reasonably satisfied that you purchased the product from us or where we are not responsible for the damage.
Warranties
We may provide a warranty against defects, and/or structural or other specific warranties, in respect of selected products only, for certain periods of time (e.g. 1, 3, 5 or 10 years) from the date of purchase from us.
Such warranties will only apply to products purchased from Temple & Webster where the description of the product on our website (at the time the product is purchased) expressly states that such a warranty applies to that product.
Manufacturer warranties
In some cases, products offered for sale on our website may be subject to a separate manufacturer’s warranty. This will be communicated on the relevant product page. Where you experience an issue with a product that comes with a manufacturer’s warranty, the manufacturer will generally be able to provide a faster assessment and remedy than us. Many manufacturers will have dedicated support centres with access to more detailed knowledge on their respective products, in addition to better access to spare parts. You may prefer to contact the manufacturer directly to seek a resolution rather than contacting us. Force Majeure
We shall not be responsible for any delay, suspension or failure arising out of any circumstances outside of our reasonable control, including but not limited to, acts of God, governmental actions or restrictions, shipping, postal or other relevant transport strike, postal theft, failure or accident, lockouts or other labour difficulty, war or national emergency, epidemics, pandemics, quarantine requirements, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, an act or omission of a third party (including our delivery partners), inability to obtain any necessary materials, equipment, facilities or services, the failure of performance provided by others, interruption of the internet or a website or social media platform (such as Facebook), or virus, accidents or breakdown of plant, machinery, software, hardware or communication network.
Applicable law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. Our website is available only to people who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law.
Relationship
No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship is intended or created between you and us by these Terms.

To ensure a positive and respectful environment for everyone, we ask that you follow a few simple guidelines when making a contribution: We’re all about the home, specifically, creating a more beautiful home. We welcome contributions on this topic. We’ll delete posts that we consider to be off-topic, spam, advertising, offensive, sexually inappropriate, threatening, abusive, hateful, profane or defamatory towards a person’s race, ethnicity, entity, belief or symbol. We’re big supporters of lively, open discussion and we don’t shy away from negative feedback from our customers, we simply deal with it in our usual professional, friendly manner. However, we reserve the right to address factual errors or delete posts if we think it appropriate or necessary to do so. SheConnected will only use your personal information to respond to your queries,process our membership and processing requests for the online shop. We may disclose you personal information to third parties that help us deliver our services and your membership including information technology suppliers, communication suppliers and our business partners but other than this SheConnected will not share your information without written consent unless we are required to by law. She Connected will comply with the Privacy Policy and this Terms of use document we are governed by the laws in the state of Victoria.
Licensors, service providers and each of their respective officers employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and affiliates are not liable for damages of any kind under any law arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use our website, any website linked to it the content or such other websites content or any services or items obtained through our website or such other websites including but not limited to personal injury, pain and suffering, emotional distress loss of revenue loss of goodwill, loss of data, and whether caused by tort including negligence breach of contract or otherwise even if foreseeable. Nothing in the clause affects any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. SheConnected and its Affiliates do not exclude or limit in anyway our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents, or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Where SheConnected and its Affiliates liability cannot be excluded their liability is limit to the fullest extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law.
